The von Storch Family
The von Storch family owned land mainly in the area of the current district of Rostock.
The brothers Caspar Friedrich and Carl Ludwig Storch as well as the brothers Johann Joachim and Johann Detloff Storch were raised to the nobility of the Empire in 1753.
The right side of the coat of arms shows two grapevines upon a green ground, while the left side displays a stork on a blue ground. Three ostrich feathers between bison horns crown the helmet.
