Estate Helmstorf

Structure of ownership prior to 1945:

1711-1786

Familie von der Lühe

The chamber page Julius Diederich von der Lühe gave up Helmstorf in 1786 and acquired the Hohen Niendorf and Mechelsdorf estates in Bukow. He managed these until 1802 and then settled in Dargelütz and Vogelsang (Grabow). He gained ownership of the Schulenberg, FahrenhauptAllerstorf and Kneese (Ribnitz) farms in 1808 without giving up those two farms. These were then sold to the Grand Ducal Demesne Chamber in 1824.
