Vorwerk Manor House near Sagard
The small village called Vorwerk near Sagard boasted a total of 60 inhabitants in 1783. In the following decades the population declined markedly on this nobles’ estate, which was farmed together with Lubitz estate and sections in Kapelle and Sagard. Richard Lietz was the last owner of the Vorwerk estate.
From 2002 to 2007 new owners renovated the former agricultural buildings and set up 19 comfortable individual holiday lets. A sauna, swimming pool, and fitness studio is also available in former stabling for horses and cattle. A sports center is being developed behind this.
