Manor House, Tenant´s House Klein Dammerow

In 1700 Dammerow was mentioned as a sovereign demesne. The size of the demesne amounted to 528 hectare in 1896, in 1917 474 hectare, in 1930 434 hectare, and in 1945 it measured 379 hectare.

The tenant's house was built in 1892/93. The last tenant was Tonius Speckmann from 1922 up to 1945, when he was abducted by Soviet soldiers. He was released only towards the end of 1955. After having been restored, whereby it benefited from significant public funding, the tenant´s house is now a listed building in use as a guest house, it contains rooms to let and holiday apartments. A small, well cared for park belongs to the property.
