In 1848 Johann Philipp Hermann Weißenborn purchased the estate. The manor house was built in 1892 in the neoclassical building style. In 1928 the estate was sold to a land settlement society and opened to settlements in 1931. Ernst Rudolf von Vahl was in possession of part of the estate up to 1928.
After 1990 the building served as a Waldorfschule (Free Rudolf Steiner School) afterwards it stood empty until it found new owners in 2004.
The manor house is surrounded by a park.
