Wöpkendorf Manor House
In the former estate park on the west side of the village lie the remains of walls and moats of a medieval castle complex with inner and outer baileys.
The former estate village of Wöpkendorf, owned by the Melms family after 1811, became insolvent in 1931 and was parceled out to settlers from Baden-Württemberg.

Wöpkendorf and Kanneberg are parceled out; 54 farmsteads were formed on the grounds of the two estates. |
At various intervals the lords of Wöpkendorf were also the owners of the estates of Kanneberg and Brunstorf. Kanneberg was alienated between 1803 and 1813, while Brunstorf had other owners from 1803 to 1865.
