Wieschendorf Manor House
Wieschendorf is a picturesque place near the Bay of Lübeck and north of the small city of Dassow. From here it is only a few kilometers to the beloved, pristine beaches of the Baltic Sea.
The manor house was built in 1900 on the foundations of an older building. At the end of the eighteenth century the von Bülow family owned the estate. From 1834 until dispossession in 1945 the von Mecklenburg family managed the property. The agriculturist Christian von Mecklenburg reacquired the estate after 1990 and has run it since that time. In the house, renovated by 2004, are comfortable holiday lets with views of the broad heritage-protected estate complex with its impressive agricultural buildings such as the cow barn, the horse stables, and the large warehouse, which were also erected in the nineteenth century. The entire area is enclosed by a natural stone wall.
Behind the manor house stretches a pristine park that invites strolling and offers wide views of the Baltic Sea and toward Lübeck.
