Manor House Jamel
Jamel was first mentioned in documents in 1230 as Jamene. The village belonged to the parish of Gressow. The manor house was demolished in spring 2023.
In Jamel there is still a forestry yard owned by the Lohmeyer couple. It is known throughout Germany for the annual music festival Musikfestival "Jamel rockt den Förster" (Jamel rocks the forester), which opposes right-wing extremism.
