Manor House Kressin
Kressin was originally a farming village. After the Thirty Years' War and the destruction that accompanied it, a feudal estate was established here at the beginning of the 18th century with frequently changing owners. In 1896, Hans Selpcke was the owner of the approximately 300-hectare estate. During the First World War, the estate was in possession of the Countess Rantzau, thereafter owned by the von Boddin family.
In 1933 the estate was sold to the RUGES, the Reichsumsiedlungsgesellschaft, a state-owned company who divided land into property parcels, these were opened to settlements in 1936. The rest of the estate was expropriated in 1945 and the land was given to new farmers.
The Tudor Gothic style manor house and the park behind it are privately owned.
