Manorial Park Kölzow

Initial start of the park was the defence tower fortifications of the early German settlers who came to the region with the conquest of Mecklenburg by Henry the Lion.

Over the centuries an eight hectare landscape park, now designated a natural historical monument, was created together with the prestigious manorial complex. The park excels with a great number of different, also exotic deciduous trees. The vastness of the castle grounds is picturesquely divided by two ponds.

During the `Day of the Open Gardens´ we offer guided tours, also coffee and cake.
