Woddow Manor House
Around 1927 the estate belonged to the Birkenstaedt family. The manor house was built in the second half of the eighteenth century. Its original appearance was heavily compromised with alterations in the nineteenth century and in 1965.
Two cavaliers’ houses [buildings used by the household and not the owners of the estate themselves] dating from the construction of the main house are still extant. The former poultry house is an octagonal wooden structure from 1801. The ruins of a small tea house in the park could still be seen around 1982.
