Wendisch Rambow Manor House

Wendisch Rambow possesses a simple red brick manor house.  It is very idyllically situated immediately next to the Dambeck Lakes Nature Preserve.

Wendisch Rambow supposedly dates back to an old property of the von Rambow family, which in the 13th and 14th centuries was widely based in the Wismar area around Stieten, Rambow, and Wendorf.  Today the house is privately occupied.
