Manor House Thalberg
Thalberg was a feudal estate that was owned by Dr. Schrader starting in 1812 and then Christian von Bülow in 1843. The estate remained in possession of the von Bülow family until 1933.
The manor house is now a private property and is inhabited.
There is a so-called “Reuter-Stube” (a lounge) in the manor house. The German poet, Fritz Reuter, lived and began his career as a writer in Thalberg.
Some of the farmhouses from the original estate have been preserved and are inhabited.
