Manor House Brinkhof

Brinkhof is a district of Brandshagen and is situated slightly southwest of the village.

In 1585, the Captain of Franzburg, Gutzlaff v. Rotermund, is mentioned in Brinkhof. After a dispute with the city of Stralsund, who had destroyed his fortress-like building in Brinkhof, he moved his residence from Brinkhof to Cordshagen. In 1840, the Major zu Warnin is mentioned in Brinkhof. In 1861, Elisabeth Countess von Behr-Negendank is born in Brinkhof. From 1888, the estate with Niederhof is in the entailed estate of the von Bismark-Bohlen family, who purchased it from Anton Woworsky. A few years later, a protocol from 1894 in the Greifswald state archives provides information on the "sale and transfer of the Brinkhof estate to George Philippi".

In the 1930s, the estate was partially opened to settlements.
