Windebrak Manor House

The estate of the owner Lewe was farmed until 1945. The manor house was built in 1870 as a plastered half-timbered building with a roof of tiles and rolled felt.

It was decided in the 1970s to tear down the house, which was home at the time to several families. The house was heavily damaged by dry rot and woodworm. The renters used an outdoor toilet and used stoves for heating, while there was neither water nor sewer service.
