Daberkow was first mentioned in documents in 1277. As early as the beginning of the 14th century, the estate was in the possession of the von Blücher family and remained an ancestral estate of the family until 1721. The von Blücher family belongs to the original Mecklenburg nobility.
In 1721 Melchior Ulrich von Köppern purchased the estate, in 1738 the von Linden family, in 1785 the von Heyden-Linden family resided here, they sold it to Eduard Knust in 1839. His heirs sold the estate to the Klosterkammer (Monastery administration) Hannover in 1885 for 850.000 marks.
The last tenant of the estate until 1945 was Hans Kröchert, who was murdered in front of his house immediately after the end of the Second World War. The family remained in Daberkow and a descendant of the last tenant has been a committed mayor of the village for many years.
The manor house was erected in the 18th century and was reconstructed at the end of the 19th century. It is owned by the municipality and is used as residential accommodation and municipal office space.
The church in Daberkow was built in the 14th century as a brick construction. After a fire it was restored in 1816.
