Klocksin Park

Klocksin is situated on the edge of the Klocksin lake district. Behind the manor house an extensive park stretches towards the lake (Flacher See).

The park has been laid out like a forest, open spaces only exist behind the manor house. The tree population is old, there are copper beeches and white beeches, oak trees, maple trees, ash trees, lime trees, and chestnut trees. The oldest and strongest trees are standing on the edge of the forest park.

If one walks along the lime tree avenue one will reach a chapel which was built around 1900. Behind the chapel, between the park and the lake, a cemetery for unknown fallen soldiers of WWII was created after 1945.
